This year the event was held during the sixth Global Conclave hosted by the Mumbai Chapter of PRCI.

Rajashree Birla, Chairperson, Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development, presented the award to Shehnaaz Khambatta, General Manager — PR & Corporate Communication, who received the award on behalf of MCHI.

In its announcement, PRCI stated that the relentless campaign by MCHI to ensure transparency in all realty deals has been widely appreciated and all its associate units and developer members have accepted the code of conduct formulated by it. MCHI has been championing the cause of home seekers, apart from working for the welfare of its member developers.

PRCI emphasised that in Fact, MCHI has even taken initiatives to ensure that the properties sold by its members are hassle-free and have all necessary legal clearances. It has coined the slogan ‘MCHI Hai Toh Bharosa Hai’ to send across the message for confidence to buyers. This has been evident from the recent property exhibitions that MCHI hosted in Mumbai and the suburbs. MCHI, formed in 1982, is the most prominent and the only recognized body of real estate Developers in Mumbai and MMR.
